Mrs. Sally, Owner and Director

Mrs. Sally leads a wonderful group of Teachers here at Discovery Preschool. Sally began her work with children in her teenage years as a babysitter to many local North County families. After the birth of her first child in 2003, she began to work as a nanny and then ventured into Family Child Care in Vista. Five years after starting the Family Child Care she decided to open Discovery Preschool! With her vast knowledge and education in Early Childhood Education and her pounds of experience raising her own three children, Sally has put her heart and soul into creating Discovery Preschool!

Mrs. Sarah, Lead Teacher & 2's Class Teacher

Mrs. Sarah has been a Preschool teacher for over 6 years. Her wide range of experience and education enables her to help each child learn and grow at his/her own pace. Mrs. Sarah is patient, creative and loving! In her 2 Year Old classroom she focuses on helping the children learn independence, self-control and to appreciate learning. The curriculum that Mrs. Sarah creates and implements gives every 2 Year Old the solid Preschool foundation that they need before moving on to the 3 Year Old classroom!

Mrs. Andrea, 3's Class Teacher

Mrs. Andrea came to Discovery Preschool after completing her Early Childhood Education courses and getting experience in a Preschool setting. Her work with a local non-profit Preschool program has given her the skills needed to create an engaging and educational environment for children. She brings with her a zest for knowledge, true compassion and a love of children! As the 3's Class Teacher, Andrea works hard every day to ensure each child's readiness for our 4 year old program. The 3 year old program is a vital stepping stone on the path to Kindergarten readiness and Mrs. Andrea reaches for the stars for all the children in her class!

Mrs. Liz, 4's Class Teacher

Miss Liz has worked in Preschools for over 5 years and she brings with her the natural ability to engage and entertain the children! She works closely with all of our teachers to maintain and implement the curriculum throughout the day. Education, dedication and a true love of children gives Miss Liz the tools that she needs to make sure each child feels loved with they learn! Miss Liz's committment to the children shows very clearly as she helps them to learn self confidence and how to love learning!

Miss Erica, Floater Teacher (all classes)

Miss Erica joined the Discovery Preschool team after following her dream of teaching Preschool. She brings with her a true love of children, a clear understanding of a child's development and the committment to educating children! Miss Erica works to support all of the Teachers in our school to ensure each child's ability to thrive and enjoy learning!



Every Teacher in our school has completed at least 12 units of Early Childhood Education, has a complete background check done and is currently certified to perform CPR and First Aid if needed.

Our weekly lesson plans are created with care and attention to detail as we help your children meet all of their necessary milestones on the path to Elementary School.
